Marco Reale is a young researcher at the National Institute for Oceanography and Applied Geophysics in Trieste, Italy. He has been awarded for his contribution to the characterization of Mediterranean cyclones in present and future climates, his analysis of the climate/ocean/biogeochemical dynamics in the Mediterranean Sea, with a focus on the Adriatic/Ionian/Aegean system
